Welcome to Celiac Education

The purpose of this web site is to improve knowledge and promote awareness of celiac disease by providing information and education to the health care professionals, patients and the public.

There are several other web sites on celiac disease and gluten-free diet. However, this site will present information in a simple and practical way using a clinical case-based approach which will make learning in this area both easy and fun. As Sir William Osler said, "To study the phenomenon of disease without books is to sail an uncharted sea, while to study books without patients is not to go to sea at all".
